40 Years Without Maria Callas

 

The Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall hosted a concert dedicated to the great greek opera singer, Maria Callas, to commemorate the 40th anniversary from her passing away and organized by the Embassy of Greece and United Cultures Organization, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture and M. Callas Foundation Athenaeum. The concert was also dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Greece and Azerbaijan and was broadcasted live at Lenkaran region, where the E.U. Delegation and E.U. member states Embassies were celebrating this year’s “Europe Day”.
